Description
The idol of lord ganesh baba is made from mugni stone, from which the idols of Gods and Goddesses of Hindu religion are made. It is considered a sacred stone. mugi are black colored smooth, oval stones. According to religious texts, Ganesh, the son of Shree Shiva is one of the most prominent altars, faithfully invoked and dedicatedly worshipped by a large number of devotees. The idol of Shree Siddhivinayak is of black stone and is 0.8 feet high with the trunk on the right. The upper right hand holds a lotus, the left an axe.
